Companion responsibilities may include

      • Assisting clients with personal care services such as oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
      • Medication reminders
      • Lite housekeeping including laundry, dishes and vacuuming Planning, preparing and serving
      • Assistance with transfers, walking and physical activity
      • Assistance with transportation to appointments, activities, errands, and shopping
      • Providing companionship and cheerful, positive assistance at all times

Job Requirements Qualifications

        • A clean drug screening and criminal background check
        • PPD Annually or Chest x-ray every 5 years
        • Reliable transportation and automobile insurance
        • Working Conditions: Clients’ home environment, facilities. Clients may smoke, have dogs or cats or other pets.

        • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.

Job Description Summary

The Field Specialist is responsible for providing care for Kid care, Staffing and Senior care as needed
during their assigned Schedule. The Field specialist will be expected to go to all assigned shifts in any
location within Guardian territory

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Be prepared to leave to work within 15 minutes notice during your scheduled hours. We will try to schedule shifts as far out as possible. The following items must be in order:
  • Dressed, groomed, and ready to go in Uniform with ID Badge
  • Personal childcare pre-arranged
  • Cell phone charged and ringer turned on
  • Transportation available for use
  • Have blank care notes on hand at all times
  • Call the family of the assigned case to introduce yourself before arriving to all Childcare cases

under the supervision of an RN. Work is in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Caroll, Anne Arundell
and Howard Counties. We are hiring high-energy individuals looking for part-time and full time work.
A flexible schedule allows you devoted time to your clients. Must be willing to travel within a 35-mile
radius.

Responsibilities

  • Implement Plan of Care and treatment using sound judgment and critical thinking
  • Provide accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the Plan of Care, and the nursing process
  • Prepare, administer, and appropriately document actions taken specific to commonly prescribed oral,topical, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications
  • Observe report, and record adverse reactions to medications, and/or treatment to the registered nurse
  • Perform wound care and recognize the need for and institute emergency measures in a rapid and appropriate manner
  • Perform all skills, treatments, and procedures within the LPN scope of practice as defined in the
    Nurse Practice Act in MD and adheres to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency
  • Teat clients, family, and staff with courtesy and respect

Job Requirements

Unencumbered LPN license in Maryland
Two-years of nursing experience required; community, home health, or medical/surgical experience
preferred: (IV, wound care, and G-tube)
Trach and Vent experience required
Certified in CPR and demonstrated strong clinical skills
Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance and vehicle
Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, other team members, and
families
Negative TB test or chest x-ray
Clean background and criminal record
